Our vision is to be a diverse, welcoming, worshipping, and biblically faithful community that connects people to Jesus Christ through love in action.

Sunday Services
and formation times
8:00am Worship - a smaller, quieter Holy Eucharist* with simple, uplifting music
9:00am - conversations with the priests about life and God
10:30am Worship - Holy Eucharist* with hymns, children's yoga (K-5th), and nursery care
11:45am - tea/coffee is provided as people get to know each other
Note: there is no children's program on fifth Sundays. Children are ALWAYS welcome in worship.
* Holy Eucharist (aka "Mass" or "Worship") is a service with Scripture reading, prayer, and Holy Communion. It is our normal way to gather on Sundays, and something we hope you find to be refreshing, comforting, and a powerful reminder of God's love.

A weekly digital retreat
Sunday morning is a special time in our community, when we connect with one another and God. We find it is best if we are unplugged. All you need for service is found in the church. We ask that you silence your phones, or leave them in the car, if possible. And enjoy this refreshing time! |
Adult Stretch ClassesMondays, 10-11am, beginning July 1. Taught by J. Davis Hobdy. $10/class suggested donation.

Summer Sunday School YogaThis summer, our Sunday Schoolers (ages 5-11) will begin their summer Sunday School program. Children will start out in church at 1030am with their parents. Then, at the time of the readings, they will follow Ms Irene to the library (our special yoga room) for Bible-story yoga, where they will learn a Bible story by acting it out with different yoga poses and movements.

Prayer for healing on Sunday morningsGod works in many ways, and is always working in our lives for good. One of the ways God works is through physical healing. If you want prayer for healing, there will be prayer teams at the front of the church after Sunday services. Simply come forward and ask - they will be happy to pray for you.
It isn't physical pain I need prayer for
For many, their need is not for physical healing, but for counsel, wisdom, or prayer for a decision or struggle. A priest will be available at the front of the church after service, and would be happy to listen and pray with you for whatever you are facing.

The Way of LoveWe are trying something different here: not new, but different in our current, divided, polarized context.
Discipleship + Sacraments Social Justice + Spirituality Theology + Beauty Relevant + Ancient Contemporary + Traditional New + Old We need your help in building it, Jesus needs all of us. We believe that if we really walk this Way, it could change the church, it could bring us together, and it could bring us back to what Jesus intended. |
Come and experience the Way of Love, and join the Jesus Movement.

Sunday morning conversation with the priest(s)Sunday mornings at 9am, join us as discuss life, faith, and whatever questions or topics you'd like to discuss. We get to know one another, and learn from each other. For the summer, all participants are invited to watch one episode of the television series "The Chosen" each week, as food for discussion or thought. This week's episode is Season 2, Episode 2, and July 14's episode for discussion is Season 2, Episode 3. Do not worry if you have not watched the latest episode, or don't even know about "The Chosen". It is simple one option for discussion - which can be on any topic.
|
"The Chosen" is a creative, imaginative, and biblically based portrayal of the life of Jesus and his followers.

Church Calendar
Bishop Michael HunnAs a church with an ancient history, we can trace our worship and our bishops back to the earliest days of the church.
Michael Hunn is the 12th Bishop of this Diocese (which includes all of New Mexico and part of Texas). You won't normally see him at St. Francis, because he has many churches and people to visit, but he is our lead pastor and teacher. He loves to share videos of what he is up to, as he is often on the go, and we share them with you here. |
Clare's Closet, our children's clothing ministry, has given 750 pairs of Bombas socks, and underwear, to those affected by the fires.
