Ways to Serve & Grow

The duty of all Christians is to follow Christ; to come together week by week for corporate worship; and to work, pray, and give for the spread of the kingdom of God. -"An Outline of the Faith", Book of Common Prayer, p. 856

Ways to get involved

Acolyte: Assist the priests in worship by carrying crosses, candles, and incense, ringing bells, and helping with setting up for Holy Communion. Open to ages 5 and up!
Administrative/ Office Support: Mondays-Fridays, 11am-2pm - computer knowledge helpful!
Adult Stretch Classes: Mondays, 10-11am
Altar Guild: Sets up the sanctuary for Sunday Worship on Saturday afternoon and between Sunday services.
Baptism/Confirmation/New Member Group: Meets at different times.
Bible Studies: Sunday afternoons at 1:30pm and Thursday mornings at 10am, both online
Centering Prayer: A way to pray in silence with others. Tuesdays at 11am in the Chapel, and Wednesdays at 5pm online.
Chapel Candle: Every 7 days the candle in the chapel needs to be changed: requires getting on a stepstool.
Children's Ministry: Education & Choir, Sundays, 9:30-10:15am. NOTE: We intentionally work to involve children in all aspects of our communal life. They are full members of the congregation, who receive Communion, serve in worship, join in community service and more.
Choir: Sundays, 9am-10am
Clare's Closet: Children's clothing ministry. Volunteers work on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Cleaning Teams: We build community and keep our parish sparkling clean by cleaning in small teams on Saturdays, 9am-10am. Please consider contacting us to join a team.
Daughters of the King: women's ministry devoted to pray, service, and evangelism. 3rd Saturday, 1030am
Eucharistic Minister: Serves the Wine during Holy Communion in Sunday services. A beautiful way to share God's grace. Must be Confirmed to serve.

Food Pantry Delivery Team: Flexible schedule during the week. Take food from our Sunday offering to Storehouse West.
Go & Bless Ministries: Reaching out in real, practical, and relational ways to our neighbors. Various events throughout the year.
Greeter: Welcome people to worship on Sunday mornings.

Hospitality Team: Sets up coffee and tea for our Sunday services
Nursery Care Team: Assist our nursery director in providing care for our youngest members.
Reader: Read the Scripture lessons for the day in Sunday service.
Christian Education (K-5th): Assist with leading Bible lessons, crafts, and games for our elementary aged kids. Sundays, 9:30-10:15am.
Worship Teams: Be a greeter, acolyte, reader, or nursery care assistant, or Eucharistic Minister.
Youth Ministry: Sundays, 5-6:30pm.
Vestry: Oversees budgetary, legal, and building maintenance matters. Has financial responsibility for the parish. Meets once a month. One must be Confirmed to serve on the Vestry. Talk with a priest to learn more about Confirmation.
