Stewardship Celebration Sunday
It is Here
November 15, 2020

“The joy of the Lord is our Strength”

As you've been prayerfully considering the ways in which you can grow in faith, we invite you to fill out your Estimate of Giving Card during worship on Sunday, and to return that card to St. Francis between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.  Someone will be out front to collect your card directly from your car.  If you can't make it to St. Francis in person on Sunday, simply place your card in an envelope and return it to the Parish Office at 2903 Cabezon Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

These cards are estimates by which we will continue to grow together into the weeks, months, and years ahead.

We thank you for your prayer and discernment and look forward to walking together as we grow in sharing the gifts God has given us.
St. Paul tells us that “Each one must give as they have decided in their heart, not under guilt or obligation, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
Estimate of Giving Card
The November 2, 2020 letter to Members and Friends of St. Francis provides tools for prayerful consideration of your stewardship giving. Below is the chart that is included in that letter.

CARES ACT CHARITABLE GIVING INCENTIVES
Most Episcopal organizations rely on generous donors to support their mission and ministry. Stewardship can be deeply spiritual, rooted in a desire to reorient our lives towards God, but it also has a practical side. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, or CARES Act, signed into law on March 27, 2020, includes several provisions that may affect charitable giving this year. We encourage churches to talk about these opportunities with their congregations. Click the heading to be taken to the full article on the Episcopal Church Foundation page.
