Notes for our Christian journey together
|
At the heart of Holy Week is God’s heart. At the heart of Holy Week is also our hearts. Really it’s about God’s heart meeting the human heart, the sacred heart of Jesus meeting our hurting hearts. Holy Week is one great story of God’s never-failing, never-giving-up, always and forever love (as one of my favorite books, The Jesus Storybook Bible, puts it). So, how do we get our hearts in the right place? We bring them just as they are to the services and allow God to love us and to transform us. And while you are at it, you might invite a friend or two to come with you, and just trust God to do what God does - love. Photo credits: Photo by Iva Aralia Nizar on Unsplash

St Francis Episcopal ChurchJesus's vision for the kingdom of God is that every person belongs, every person is valued, and every person has something unique to contribute. Through baptism we become the family of God, and this family can bless the whole world, by demonstrating the Love of God and inviting all into that Love. This page is here to show the many ways that we are living out the Way of Love. Come and be a part of something bigger and more beautiful than any one of us could imagine. Archives
